But it wasn’t always easy.
I learned the hard way.
Four years ago I was working as a full-time nurse in the operating room, feeling lost after 25 years in the field. I was desperately searching for a way out, but I wasn’t sure where to turn.
Then hit a huge roadblock. I lost my job.
It left me heartbroken and lost. For so long, my identity was tied to being a nurse. But then, I realized something crucial: Our jobs don't define who we are— we do.
...and then it got worse! Until...
I discovered Mentorship.
My coach showed me a way out of my misery and encouraged me to invest in my own unique expertise. With guidance I was able to chart a new path and leave behind the soul-sucking experience of working a “9-5”.
I started to change, transform.
It all started to come together.
I leaned into my leadership training and made a choice not to quit on myself. Instead, I doubled down and discovered something important:
We define who we are. Our identity isn’t shaped by our jobs. Each of us is unique, with our own experiences and values. Success looks different for everyone—and that’s not just okay, it’s amazing!
